7 miles on the antfarm dreadmill. Josie did the circuit of exercises in the gym while I ran including hitting the punching bag so hard that afterwards, she put on bandages. Hillary Swank eat your heart out. I finished with 3c (200 ab bar, 100 side to side alternating). My workout was about 7:10 pace with the last 3 laps as follows: 1 x 800 at marathon pace and 1 x 400 at 5:00 pace --Hudson factor in da house. I had the misfortune of getting my mail which included the latest NE Runner which is usually a cherished piece of reading material. Not so today. It appears that NE Runner will rotate photos across the various New England states on their cover. This edition, it was Vermont's turn and I did a double take that the photo of the best the Green Mountain State has to offer does not include a snapshot of such notable, elite-quality Vermont runners as Mark Churchill or Eric Morse. Instead we got the crack. Skicrack. The ubiquitous skicrack Dogtown Z-boyz of summer who grace covers of multiple 'recreational' magazines up there parading in the lead of some local race in their fancy elite jerseys clearing the Red Sea of Lake Champlain to lead the transplanted New Jersey-ite masses to the promised land of Volvos, 24-7 NPR, and 'Bush sucks' high fives.
