Nick at Nite.
My daughter just watched a special with former President Clinton discussing the nationwide epidemic of childhood obesity, how to eat right, and stay fit. Rebuilding-his-legacy or not and despite what I or anyone thinks about the guy, I give the fact that he's talking about it on TV with a panel of kids two big thumbs up. We need more of this.
I've seen too many obese, super-sized, McKids already.

(I am saddened when I go to one of the school programs and notice that more than 1/2 the kids on stage are overweight. Kudos to Mr. Clinton ~ all politics aside.)
Thank you for the advice. I truly appreciate hearing your thoughts/suggestions.
I did not get a chance to see the former President, but am glad to see this problem getting some national attention.
I was shocked to find candy machines, a soda machine, and a snack food machine housed in our local YMCA. There is always a crowd of kids eagerly pushing money into these things. Amazing.
