Question from 'Zeke.'
"So when you're winning by 5 minutes, is it even fun? Does it feel like you're in a race or just out for a tempo run?"
Answer: Hello Zeke. At about the 3rd mile, I didn't feel too well. I pretty much knew at that point that I had succeeded in finding a win in some Godforsaken race in the town where the deleted scene from Deer Hunter was filmed. As I came around to the finish and saw my time, I just remember thinking that at 56 minutes, most 10 mile races in the NYC area would have about twenty finishers in their cooldown sweats all sitting in the grass discussing Kant while sipping tea with heart rates of 33. Despite all that, it was a good effort for me and I think a good indicator that I don't fancy myself as a sub 2:30 man this year. Yes, I have succeeded in positioning the excuse before the Philadelphia fall.
