WrightSocks, Duncan, ankle-height (not shoe height). They're $6 a pair but worth it. And hey, what gives with that shoe? That's a Racer ST, not a T4; I thought you ran marathons in T4s. My illusions are shattered. (BTW, have you seen this year's ST? Fluorescent yellow. I had people shouting, "Go, guy with the yellow shoes!" at me for 26 miles at the Flying Pig. I'd have been better off to have my name on my shirt.)
Is that the ST-Racer? I thought you were a T-4 guy. I'm certain you gave it your absolute best, which is what is what both you and the distance demand and deserve. I'm truly impressed by the work you put in, and I'm certain that it will pay dividends down the line come the next one this fall. No reason to cast your eyes downward, you toed the line and went to battle. Color me impressed.

I've had that problem, but it was in a 5K and all I got was a small raw area. That must really hurt.

Make sure to change the dressing on the stump at least twice a day.
